Go Back to the Classic Look in XP

Straight out of the box, XP's Desktop has a simple and uncluttered look. XP's default installation requires you to click on Start to display the icons that appeared on the Desktop in earlier Windows Operating Systems (OS's) such as 98, NT, 2000 and ME. You can, however, set XP to use the Classic Look, so that your Desktop looks, feels and works like earlier versions of Windows. more
